Social-media-management platform HootSuite means business with three new applications it introduced Tuesday, all of which are targeted toward small business users.
Customer-relationship-management tool Nimble allows salespeople and front-end customer-service staff to join the social media party, combining unified communications, social media tools, client management, and team collaboration in one plugin for the HootSuite dashboard, and giving users access to multidimensional contact records that include access to history and context.
Nimble can be used to manage contact details, view complete conversation histories, schedule follow-ups, add client-specific notes, and forecast sales.
The StockTwits financial communications platform for the investing community was established in 2008, and it is now integrated within HootSuite, allowing users to access insights, ideas, links, charts, and other financial data on thousands of stocks from more than 200,000 members, as well as to share ideas, links, and financial data to the StockTwits network directly from the HootSuite dashboard.
