ICN Serves Up Jimmy Connors App

International Celebrity Networks (ICN), a company with offices in Los Angeles and London, has found its biggest success so far with a pair of UK celeb driven apps – Lewis Moody Rugby and David Gandy Style Guide for Men. Now comes their first big U.S. athlete powered offering, courtesy of the guy who perfected the fist pump long before Tiger Woods.

Tennis 109 with Jimmy Connors, retailing for $9.99, takes its name from the number of singles championships the tenacious legend won during his remarkable career. The only thing missing from this pocket Jimmy appears to be tips on how to meet Playboy playmates. From the press release:

“I think people will really enjoy the content of my app,” said Connors. “We’ve compiled my tennis philosophy and lessons as well as an inside look at some of my toughest opponents, favorite matches and tennis today.”

ICN launched their first app in August 2010 and will add a second U.S. name brand one later this week, Power Hitting with Jose Canseco. Their app portfolio also includes the Hollywood offshoot Plan Your Wedding with Mindy Weiss.
