Instagram: Here’s How to Use Superzoom Mode in Stories

You can choose from multiple effects

The Superzoom mode in Instagram Stories allows you to add different effects to your shots as the camera automatically zooms in on your subject. Our guide will show you how to use it.

Note: These screenshots were captured in the Instagram application on iOS.

Step 1: On the Instagram Stories camera screen, swipe from right to left on the mode names at the bottom of the screen until the word “Superzoom” is directly under the capture button.

There are multiple superzoom effects to choose from, such as “Hearts” and “Beats.” Swipe right and left on the effects icons above the capture button to select the effect you wish to use.

When you’re done setting up your shot, tap the capture button at the bottom of the screen to take a video clip with the superzoom effect.
