Instagram added a donation sticker to Stories, which allows users to encourage their viewers to donate to a nonprofit. Our guide will show you how to use it.
Note: These screenshots were captured in the Instagram application on iOS.
Step 1: Once you’ve taken or imported a photo or video into Stories, tap the Sticker icon at the top of the screen.
Step 2: Tap the donation sticker.
Step 3: Tap one of the organizations you follow, or one of the organizations listed under the “Popular” section, to add it to your donation sticker. Or, tap “Search nonprofits” at the top of the screen to search for an organization manually.
By default, the sticker will read “Help Support [Nonprofit].” You can delete this text and type something different, if you want. You can also tap the colorful circle at the top of the screen to change the sticker’s color (tap the circle multiple times to view different color options).
Step 4: Tap “Done” when you’re done editing the sticker.
From there, you can resize, rotate and drag the sticker around the screen to best fit your post before sharing it. If you want to edit the sticker before sharing your post, tap on it.
