Instagram users can now upload multiple photos and videos simultaneously to their Stories.
The Facebook-owned photo- and video-sharing network announced in a blog post Tuesday that all Android users will see a new icon in the top-right corner of their upload media screen, enabling them to choose up to 10 photos or videos from their galleries to be added to their Stories.
Once they move to the edit screen, a preview of all selected photos and videos will appear, and each one can be edited individually with stickers, text and other creative tools.
When the user is ready, all media will be uploaded to their Story in the order in which they were selected.
Instagram also announced that it made the process of adding location stickers easier for Android users, writing in its blog post, “Now, when you’re sitting at lunch daydreaming about last weekend at the beach and you decide to share a photo, the location sticker will suggest places from near where your media was captured—making it easier to tag that great taco spot, even if you didn’t exactly remember what it was called.”
Both updates will be rolled out to iOS users “in the coming weeks.”
