iriver’s latest eReader showed up on the FCC website today. The Story HD is a Kindle clone sporting a 6″ E-ink screen, and it’s the first eReader produced by the new LG/iriver partnership.
The screen is unique to the Story HD, and it has a resolution that’s much higher than any other E-ink screen (768 x 1024). This eReader also has Wifi, a SD card slot, and 2GB Flash Storage. It’s supposed to hit the market in Q2 2011.
I’d like to be able to say that this might show up on the US market, but I seriously doubt that will ever happen. This is now iriver’s 4th eReader, and none of the previous 3 were officially released in the US.
