For many, tonight will be the last night that they will go to bed without owning Apple’s iPad. Actually, that’s not completely true, for some last night was the last night they went to bed without owning an iPad, because they will be up all night tonight, waiting in line to be amongst the first to enter an Apple store tomorrow morning.
I have to admit, it is taking a great deal for me to not get caught up in the excitement and go stand in line myself. However, I am fighting back the urge by browsing the web to live vicariously through others. If you have been indecisive, but now want to rush out and buy an iPad for yourself, Gizmodo has put together a surival guide just for you. Finally, if you are pondering how you would use an iPad, consider the applications in Gizmodo’s essential applications guide.
My partner Todd Ogasawara will not be standing in line at an Apple store tomorrow, not unless he becomes totally frustrated by his iPad not arriving that he decides to just drive to the nearest store to try and buy one. While we don’t know whether Todd’s iPad is still in China or waiting in Louisville, we do know that Todd will be posting here tomorrow, so be sure to check back for some special Saturday updates.
