NuvoTV, the cable channel backed by Jennifer Lopez, has won the bidding war for Fuse Network. Lopez was going head-to-head with her former boyfriend, Diddy, for MSG owned Fuse.
Diddy was the first to make an offer, but his $200 million bid wasn’t enough. The New York Post reports that J.Lo’s slightly higher bid of what has only been described as “more than $200 million” won. By adding Fuse Network, NuvoTV will now reach over 100 million homes across the country. Diddy had wanted to do the same for his network, Revolt TV.
Eric Sherman, the former president of Fuse, told the Post that Diddy losing to J.Lo was “a real blow.”
