Janae Redmond, vice president of Twitter’s MoPub mobile monetization platform, is leaving after seven years.
Redmond revealed her departure in a series of tweets, saying that she will take some time off before deciding on her next destination.
She added that leadership of MoPub will be assumed by senior director of sales Robin Wheeler and head of product Daniel Kang.
Redmond said she will spend the next few weeks working with Wheeler and Kang on a smooth transition.
She joined MoPub in September 2012 as vp of its marketplace, following a nine-month stint as strategic partner lead, mobile platforms at Google.
Wheeler has been at Twitter since January 2012, after spending four years at AOL.
And Kang joined Twitter in 2017 from Vungle, where he spent three years as director of product. Prior to that, he was a partner technology manager at Google.
Twitter acquired MoPub in September 2013.
