With nominations in and faces studies, The Hill is out today with its annual inventory of the Beltway’s 50 Most Beautiful.
The Hill reports there were over 500 nominations this year.
The journos in the top 10 percent include Face the Nation host John Dickerson, CNN justice correspondent Pamela Brown, NBC News national correspondent Peter Alexander, CNN political reporter Eugene Scott, Fox News contributor Mercedes Schlapp and Fox 5 DC reporter Ronica Cleary.
For Alexander, it was not the first time this year he was called beautiful in public. Donald Trump was there first, in a March presser. “You’re so beautiful,” he told Alexander. That was immediately followed by, “Oh, look at you. Awwww. Aw, he’s so. Oh, I know. You’ve never heard a little bad, a little off, language. I know, you’re so perfect. Aren’t you perfect. Aren’t you just a perfect young man. Give me a break.”
Alexander said he would crochet those words on a pillow.
