KamaGames Publisher Gives $100k to game devs

KamaGames, an international game developer for iOS and Android, is introducing the KamaGames Publishing program. The new unit of the company will aim at building partnerships with independent studios developing games for mobile platforms.

KamaGames built its reputation with Pokerist: Texas Poker. Pokerist: Texas Poker has taken leading positions in Top Grossing lists of the AppStore and Google Play for over two years and was listed in the App Store Best of 2012. KamaGames reaches 47 million players worldwide and 1 million DAU. The latest project launched by KamaGames – Roulettist – hit 1 million downloads within a week after release on the AppStore.

In addition to access to KamaGames’ product development and marketing knowledge, participating games will receive a minimum allocation of $100,000 to fund a soft launch. KamaGames considers $100,000 to be the minimal budget required to attract a critical number of users, perform game analysis and specify optimization steps.

“We have already started working with one studio within the framework of this program” – says Head of KamaGames Publishing, Eugene Kochubeev. “It is quality we focus on, not quantity. By the end of the year we plan to sign a few more contracts and focus all our attention and resources on them. We believe our program is the recipe for success.”

Developers can apply for the program at the company’s website.
