Kogan might not be known around the world, but it’s making a name for itself in Australia and it has unveiled a new Android tablet this week.
The Agora tablet has a 7″ capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 (same as the NookColor). It’s running Android v2.2 on a 1GHz Samsung CPU with Wifi, Bluetooth, 4GB Flash Storage, a microSD card slot, and a 1.3MP camera.
It ships with a full suite of Google Apps as well as access to the Android Market. It’s selling now for $143 AUD, and that is an awesome price given the specs. It has the hardwarebetter than the NookColor and yet it costs ~$100 less.
