Mailbox, the email management app that helps get your inbox down to “zero,” is expanding. The popular iOS app for the iPhone and the iPad now supports Yahoo Mail users, as well as several Apple mail clients: iCloud, .me and .mac accounts.
It was already available for Gmail users.
The app lets users reorder emails, mark them for later reading — next month, later that day or another time — and otherwise bring some order to the notoriously overfilled inbox of today. A couple of other app updates accompanied the addition of the new email services, including the ability to remove the “help me get to zero” banner.
The new email clients should open the app up to “hundreds of millions” of potential new users, the Mailbox team blogged. Additional email platforms will be added soon, it said.
Dropbox acquired Mailbox in March. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
