Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia to be Purchased by Retail Firm

It could be the end of an era.

The Martha Stewart era of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia might be coming to a close.

The Wall Street Journal reports that MSLO is on the verge of being acquired by Sequential Brands Group, a retail licensing company.

It would seem that Stewart would embrace such a sale, as MSLO has endured negative yearly sales dating back to 2007.

Details of the deal are scarce, as the discussions are just that — discussions. We’ll keep you posted as more information becomes available.
