In addition to DoubleClick, which was acquired by Google, Mittman worked with NetGravity (which was acquired by DoubleClick) and Medialets (which was acquired by WPP). He also served as a consultant to companies including RocketFuel, Metamarkets and Mortar Data.
And the company’s new senior vp of engineering, Christopher Rocca, had been vp of engineering at Teradata.
Nanigans co-founder and CEO Ric Calvillo said in a release announcing the two hires:
These roles are important to our continued focus on offering best-in-class advertising automation software to meet the needs of chief marketing officers worldwide amid the rapid growth of in-house advertising. Aaron and Chris bring impressive backgrounds scaling disruptive digital marketing and enterprise software companies to Nanigans, and we’re excited to welcome them to our team.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with many industry-leading digital marketing technology companies, and Nanigans is on track to make a substantial mark on the evolution of the industry. I’m excited to join its great team and play an active role in helping CMOs worldwide take control of their digital advertising budgets.
And Rocca said:
Nanigans has pioneered a new category in the digital marketing space by building for and doing what’s best for the end-advertiser. The company has solidified its focus on enterprise software with a powerful end-to-end platform and impressive engineering team. I look forward to building on this successful foundation in their next phases of growth.
