NBC.com Proud as a Peacock After 1Q Results

NBC.com said its monthly averages of 9.1 million visitors and 125 million minutes spent for the first quarter topped the list of competitive broadcast-network sites, adding that those results did not include the 2010 Winter Olympic Games from Vancouver, British Columbia, which were part of NBCOlympics.com.

The Peacock Network’s Web site also posted a strong March, with nearly 9 million total unique visitors, 140 million total minutes, and 115 million total pages viewed, according comScore Media Metrix and Omniture.

NBC.com credited the Jan. 10 season premiere of Chuck, the finale of Heroes in February, a strong performance by The Office, the return of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in March, and the series debuts of Parenthood, The Marriage Ref, Minute to Win It, and Who Do You Think You Are?
