Once again, CareerCast has named newspaper reporter one of the most endangered jobs in the nation. Take this annual survey as seriously as you please.
For those that choose to give a shit about this study that doesn’t really mean anything, the good news here is that newspaper reporter wasn’t ranked number one. That honor was bestowed upon mail carriers, a job that is expected to lose 28 percent of its workforce over the next year. By comparison, newspaper reporters are expected to dwindle by 13 percent.
Other endangered jobs making the list include farmers, logging worker (is lumberjack politically incorrect?), tailor and flight attendant.
