Nielsen Social Content Ratings Is Now Tracking Social Media’s Top TV Talent

Nielsen Social Content Ratings added a new chart for the week of Nov. 26, which tracks the top TV talent on social media, and Tyra Banks finished atop the inaugural list for her role in Life-Size 2: A Christmas Eve on Freeform.

Banks tallied 341,000 engagements across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for the week. She was followed by Migbelis Lynette Castellanos from Univision’s Nuestra Belleza Latina (299,000 engagements across the three social networks); and Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kandi Burruss (201,000).

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Holiday Special on ABC topped TV series and specials for the week of Nov. 26, totaling 5.767 million interactions across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

World Wrestling Entertainment and USA Network pinned the next two spots with WWE SmackDown! (1.494 million total interactions) and WWE Monday Night Raw (1.468 million).

National Football League action accounted for six of the top 10 entries on the sports chart including the top three: New Orleans Saints at Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football on Fox, Fox Deportes and NFL Network (4.176 million interactions across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram); Los Angeles Chargers at Pittsburgh Steelers on NBC’s Sunday Night Football (2.253 million); and Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans on Monday Night Football on ESPN and ESPN Deportes (2.146 million).
