NJG Creates New ‘Digital-First’ Position

Shesha Pancholi has joined National Journal Group as Director of Digital Products, “setting the stage for NJG to become a digital-first news organization” in the coming months, a PR spokeswoman tells FishbowlDC.

This is a newly created position for the company.

Pancholi’s professional past:
•As Executive Producer of AOL Sports (Fanhouse.com), she managed AOL’s Super Bowl commercials franchise and ran the 2008 Olympics coverage with 500MM page views. Pancholi joined AOL in 2004 as senior sports producer.
•Online content manager for FresnoBee.com and movies & videos producer for the WashingtonPost.com.
•In 2003, she was one of 10 people to be named a New Media Leadership Fellow by the Newspaper Assoc. of America.
•Earned a B.A. in journalism from the University of Maryland.
