NY Public Radio Names VP of Communications

Jennifer Houlihan Roussel moves up.

New York Public Radio has named Jennifer Houlihan Roussel vp of corporate communications.

Houlihan Roussel has been with NY Public Radio since 2003. She most recently served as senior director of publicity, a role she took on in 2012.

“Jennifer’s work touches almost all of us,” wrote NY Public Radio president and CEO Laura Walker, in a memo to staffers. “She has worked with many of you to respond to media inquiries and in strategically pitching stories to build the profile of the important work we are doing.  We all see the results each day in our inboxes, but also we see the profile of WNYC, WQXR and all of New York Public Radio rising.”
