Oh Yeezus: Kanye Enters the World of Gaming

"Hey Mama," Guess what Kayne is doing now...

kanye west video gameWe never thought that a Kardashian could teach anyone anything…but Kim may have schooled her husband on milking fame for all it’s worth before it’s all gone.

Kanye West, 37, has made money in music and movie/TV cameos while making an ass out of himself on award show stages and — if you ask Kelly Cutrone — the runway.

So what’s next? Video games.

As we learned over the old school “air waves” thanks to WWPR Power 105.1 FM and the self-dubbed “World’s Most Dangerous Morning Show” The Breakfast Club, Kanye decided that gamers need a healthy dose of his mama.

“The idea is that it’s my mother going through the gates of heaven,” said West [through Geek.com]. ”You’ve got to bring her to the highest gate of heaven by holding her to the light. We’ve been working on it for like six months.”

The game is a tribute to his mom Donda, who died in 2007. For her (and maybe for the benefit of Kanye’s ego), this game will be an adaptation of his recent single “Only One,” which imagines a fireside chat between North West and her late grandmother.

If you care for an hour of his reverie, feel free to listen.
