The new campaign was aimed at addressing a meth epidemic the state says is "growing at an alarming rate." - Credit by State of South Dakota
Anti-drug ad campaigns have been around for decades, from the Reagan era’s “Just Say No” to the D.A.R.E. program we all remember from middle school. This week saw a new head scratcher of an ad from South Dakota titled, “Meth. We’re On It.”
On this week’s episode of Yeah, That’s Probably an Ad, we talk about the meaning of the message with publishing editor Sara Jerde and emerging tech reporter Patrick Kulp. Plus, we weigh in on the Adweek 50 class of outstanding media and marketing executives.
David Griner and Kimeko McCoy host this week’s episode. You can subscribe to Yeah, That’s Probably an Ad on Apple Podcasts, Google Play Music or Stitcher, or stream the newest episode right here.
