Pandigital Announces Color Android eReader for $200

Pandigital has just unveiled Novel, an Android-based eReader with a 7-inch color screen that uses the Barnes & Noble eBookstore. It retails for $200. CNET looked at the device in the video embedded above.

Best Tablet Review lists these specs: “The Pandigital Novel eReader has a 7-inch 800 x 600 resolution resistive touchscreen and is powered by an ARM 11 processor. If features a six hour battery life, 1GB of built-in memory, WiFi, SD card slot (expandable up to 32GB), weighs a pound and measures 5.5 x 7.5 x 0.5 inches. It can also be used for multimedia as it plays videos and audio and views image files. In addition is has an alarm clock and calendar.”
