Politico Pro Adds Cybersecurity and eHealth Verticals

Politico Pro, the subscription service offered by the Arlington-based political pub, will expand their areas of professional policy coverage to include cybersecurity and health technology -or “eHealth” -it was announced today. That makes 13 different coverage areas Politico Pro will offer to its clients, and follows the recent addition of Campaign Pro, which is aimed at providing political professionals real-time information on House, Senate and gubernatorial races.

Pro Cybersecurity will launch on May 14, featuring coverage of topics like U.S. Cyber Command, the security of the electricity grid, and data breaches in the retail industry. It will be edited by Shaun Waterman, an expert on counterterrorism and cybersecurity who previously worked for The Washington Times, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and UPI.

And Pro eHealth will launch in the beginning of June, covering the intersection of health care and technology. Coverage areas will include electronic health records, telemedicine, health apps and federal health IT.

Politico also announced the launch of a federal, congressional and candidate leadership directory, which will be unveiled this summer. The new feature will be made available to all Politico Pro subscribers.
