RebeccaTraisterTwitterPic_FeaturedStarting July 27, the Salon and TNR vet will have a new home: New York magazine’s The Cut. From today’s announcement:

As writer-at-large, Traister will write a regular column as well as features and columns for the print magazine, covering women in politics, media and culture.

“Rebecca has long been one of my favorite writers anywhere, and I’m thrilled that she’ll be joining us,” says New York editor in chief Adam Moss. “She’s a fiercely intelligent thinker and reporter, deep and wise. Her areas of interest and expertise are particularly relevant right now; she’s going to have a significant impact — on New York and on the conversation we aspire to lead.”

Traister also currently contributes to Elle. Her second book, All the Single Ladies, is due in early 2016 from Simon & Schuster.
