Fans can vote on which elements would be the scariest to include in the house Reese's/Neil Patrick Harris

Reese’s teamed up with Neil Patrick Harris on It’s A LIVE, an interactive trick-or-treat house for Halloween.

Starting this week, fans can go to Harris’ Facebook or Instagram pages to vote on which elements would be the scariest to include in the house.

They can then return Oct. 24, when they can choose the path each of 32 specially selected guests experiences, in real-time, on Facebook Live.

Matador Content and Facebook Creative Shop also contributed to the development of It’s A LIVE.

Reese’s senior manager, Halloween Eric Bowers said in a release, “We are the undisputed leaders of Halloween. Last year, we allowed people to trade their trick-or-treat candy for Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. This year, we had to up our game and provide the most epic Reese’s Halloween treat experience to date.”

Harris added, “Halloween has always been my favorite—elaborate costumes, epic decorations and the ability to scare people. So, to have the Reese’s brand (and anyone watching live) help provide the most epic, larger-than-life Halloween experience? Well, it’s simply terrifying—in the greatest way imaginable.” David Cohen is editor of Adweek's Social Pro Daily.
