Relatious Steams Up the Web

Do you have friends on Facebook or Twitter who feel the need to constantly post updates about their love lives? If so, perhaps you should direct them to Relatious.

TechCrunch described Relatious as a micro-blogging community site for people who enjoy sharing every little detail about their love and/or sex lives. Unlike Twitter’s 140, the maximum amount of characters on Relatious is 400.

From a Relatious press release, via TechCrunch:

It’s a place where anyone old enough—or young enough—to have a crush, make a commitment or suffer a breakup can share all their relationship news. You can rejoice in your romantic adventures (or lament about your misadventures), dispense advice to your lovelorn peers, or seek advice about everything from dating to divorce.

From the site’s About Us page:

If you’re wondering about the brainpower behind Relatious, the site was created by a team of successful entrepreneurs who have already launched and sold several Internet startups. Relatious will remain a stealth project for a while, until the moon and stars align. We know, you are dying to know who we are, but we can’t tell you just yet (or we’ll have to kill you). All we can say right now is that we’re a very hip, highly creative team and, like the rest of you hot-blooded homosapians, we’ve have had our share of relationship ups and downs.
