Reuters Names Global Head of Product

Sue Brooks moves on from the AP.

Sue Brooks has been named Reuters’s global head of product. Brooks comes to the company from The Associated Press, where she most recently served as director of international products and platforms. Brooks had been with the AP for the past 14 years.

Prior to the AP, Brooks held various editorial roles in U.K. newspapers, radio and TV newsrooms.

“Sue is an accomplished media professional with a deep understanding of the business from every angle,” said Claudia Palmer, interim head of Reuters news agency and CFO, in a statement. “We’re thrilled to have her join the team and apply her impressive expertise as we innovate with our customers to help them grow revenues within a rapidly-changing media market.”
