Waggener Edstrom Worldwide announced that Arisbe Gardner has joined the agency as vice president of public affairs in its Washington, D.C., office. Gardner brings more than a dozen years of communications and public affairs experience to the agency, including more than nine years as a consultant to government agencies on issues including cybersecurity and pandemics and more than three years as a legislative staffer for two members of Congress. In her new role, Gardner will support the public affairs practice’s efforts to continue to grow the agency’s presence in the D.C. area. She will also collaborate with colleagues to engage clients in the technology, health and wellness, economy and business, and energy and environment sectors. (Release)

MWW announced that Kas Rigas was promoted to managing director of the firm’s award-winning consumer lifestyle marketing practice. Since joining MWW as senior vice president in 2010, Rigas has been an integral part of the consumer team, significantly contributing to the growth of MWW’s work in the health and wellness, automotive and travel sectors. She provides leadership and strategic counsel to a number of the firm’s top consumer lifestyle marketing accounts including Leggett & Platt, Atkins Nutritionals™, Subaru of America, Product of the Year USA, Aetrex, Frontier Airlines and Luxury Retreats.
