Orange Is the New Blatter

Howler magazine hits FIFA where it hurts. Again.

First off, full credit where credit is due. The headline above was not our idea, but rather the genius subject line of an email sent to us a while back by Howler magazine publisher Eban Howell. He was alerting us to a certain portion of the magazine’s Fall/Winter Issue, a Do-It-Yourself paper doll activity diagrammed by Noah MacMillan:

Right on cue, it was announced today that Sepp Blatter and two other top FIFA officials have been provisionally suspended for 90 days. Meaning the Howler artifact is one step closer to being true-to-scoundrel-life.

As we reported previously, Blatter was front and (corrupt) center on the cover of Howler’s Summer Issue as well. Can’t wait to see where he winds up in the Spring Issue of Howler.

The Fall/Winter issue ships a little later this month and can be found in the New York area at Barnes & Noble and other area booksellers.
