Sony releases Sports Jeopardy! app just in time for the Super Bowl


If you love Super Bowl Sunday more for the football than the commercials, then Sony’s Sports Jeopardy! might be just the app you’re looking for.

The game launches today across iOS and Android ($0.99), enabling every sports know-it-all in the room the chance to put their virtual money where their mouth is. Gamers progress from fan to sports legend through level-ups, while in-game power-ups enable you to have more time to answer a question, or even add an extra Daily Double somewhere on the board.

But the real win here comes in the form of turn-based online multiplayer and Party Mode, where multiple players in the same room can play, answering questions on sports facts and culture while talking trash face-to-face.
