The Morris + King Company has been named AOR for True Fit, an e-commerce software company that pairs shoppers with the right-sized clothing and shoes. The work will cut across digital, fashion, consumer, and lifestyle areas.

The American Petroleum Institute has hired Fleishman-Hillard to promote its Energy From Shale campaign, which promotes fracking. The Oscar-nominated film Gasland tackled the fracking issue, presenting stories from people who suffer health problems and have seen their water become undrinkable after fracking is done in their communities. CNN covered a protest against fracking in New York today. According to Ad Age, 10 firms participated in the search, including Ketchum and Porter Novelli. Edelman and its Blue Advertising group handle the PR and advertising for the organization and Ogilvy handles government relations.

The Dodgers have requested permission from U.S. Bankruptcy Court to hire Kekst and Company for corporate communications work, the Los Angeles Times reports. In a statement, the team says that information in the media has been “inaccurate or misleading” and could impact the financial fortunes of the organization, making the move necessary.

The Great Place to Work Institute has chosen Burson-Marsteller for its first World’s Best Multinational Workplaces list, which will acknowledge the top 25 multinational companies to work for. Great Place to Work, as the name implies, pinpoints the best places to work in countries around the globe based on feedback from millions of employees surveyed at thousands of companies. The new list will be revealed on October 27 at a dinner at the New York Stock Exchange.

DKC PR has added four clients to its roster, including Tommy Bahama, the clothing and accessories line that will be opening it’s first New York City store in the spring.
