Axceler, an expert in governance for collaboration in the social enterprise, has chosen SHIFT as its agency of record to raise the company’s profile beyond its current Sharepoint audience and to highlight Axceler’s growing abilities around enterprise collaboration. Leading e-commerce platform Bigcommerce, which provides everything needed to create a successful online store, brought SHIFT on board as its agency of record to heighten its visibility in the North American market and related business press, as well as help to drive leads to its site.

Additionally, virtual agent technology solutions provider IntelliResponse has tapped SHIFT to help build awareness of the company in order to drive sales and increase relationships with industry influencers.

Bullfrog & Baum is now working with the restaurant Fish & Game, a collaboration between Chef Zak Pelaccio, his wife, alchemist Jori Jayne Emde, and his partner, film, TV and Broadway producer Patrick Milling Smith. The restaurant, located in Hudson, New York, will feature a seasonal, frequently changing menu inspired by the American palate with bold, multicultural flavors, highlighting local produce and herbs that are grown on the partners’ farms. Pelaccio made his name helming the kitchens at some of New York City’s top eateries including Fatty Crab and Fatty ‘Cue, as well as penning a best-selling cookbook; at Fish & Game, he and Jori will lead the kitchen together with long time colleague Kevin Pomplun.

In a move intended to further expand the breadth of professional services it offers clients, leading accounting, advisory, investment banking, technology and managed services firm Sikich LLP has acquired The Reynolds Communications Group, a Chicago-based PR firm. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. With more than 400 employees throughout the country, Sikich is among the largest business advisory firms in the Midwest.

URAC, an independent accreditation organization advancing quality and value throughout health care, has hired Environics Communications as its new public relations agency.

Environics will develop and implement a marketing communications campaign including strategic messaging, traditional and social media relations, speaking opportunities, trade show support, development of collateral materials, and potential paid media placements, all in support of URAC’s health care accreditation standards.
