Spin The Agencies Of Record

Accounts news from around the industry.

French/West/Vaughan will be PR AOR for K4Community, a tech integration company “designed specifically for senior living communities and their residents.” The client’s product helps turn these communities into responsive “smart homes,” so it’s basically Nest for retirees. But look at that stock photo!

Boston/New York-based marlo marketing won several new food and beverage clients: Simply7 Snacks, Latitude Beverage Company and South Hollow Spirits, known as “the first legal distillery on Cape Cod since Prohibition.” The firm will promote Simply7’s organic quinoa, hummus and lentil snack chips as well as Latitude’s lower-priced wines and South Hollow’s rums. Sadly, it will not encourage consumers to consume all three at once.

Manifest New York has been tasking with raising the US profile of Sugru, which bills itself as the world’s first moldable glue. Manifest will work alongside the company’s AOR The Door to help build recognition for the brand and CEO Jane ni Dhulchaointigh. Across the pond, Sugru will stick with Manifest London as its UK PR agency of choice. The kids in us want to know how the product compares to the old Silly Putty.

TrizCom PR of Dallas won the business of Solis Mammography, the country’s largest independent provider of breast health services. Did you know that October 16 is National Mammography Day? Neither did we.

Toronto/Orlando/Chicago firm Uproar PR won three new clients: Fusionetics, Milestone Pod and Mio Global. The firm will work to raise awareness of these new leaders in sports tech, which is FAR more interesting than ad tech.

Biologics Consulting Group picked Warschawski of Baltimore as its new PR AOR. The firm, whose work concerns “the registration of biologics, drugs, and medical Devices,” might want to talk to Uproar’s new clients listed above.

New York’s CLY Communication signed GLOSSYBOX as its newest client several months after said client began working with its German office. The client, which is a “leading global supplier of monthly beauty boxes,” expanded to North America just in time to pitch former Lucky beauty director/current GOOPer Jean Godfrey-June.

Blue Fountain Media, a full-service digital marketing agency focused on growing brands online, has picked Feintuch Communications to implement an integrated public relations program. The agency selected Feintuch because of its familiarity with the market and a similar client service ethic to Blue Mountain Media’s.

Fineman PR of San Francisco has been retained by two new clients, HealthRIGHT 360 and Renteria Wines. HealthRIGHT 360, headquartered in San Francisco, appointed the firm to expand its community health care provider’s profile in California and increase its recognition nationally. Meanwhile, Renteria Wines has tasked Fineman to launch its new line of ultra-premium wines. (HealthRIGHT 360 may or may not recommend one to three glasses of Renteria Wines before bed.)

Nancy J. Friedman Public Relations has been selected to launch The Kimpton Taconic Hotel in Manchester, Vermont — Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants’ first hotel in Vermont and newest property, which will open its doors this Fall. Nancy J. Friedman PR has also been named AOR by Tribeca Grand in New York City, which will undergo renovations late this year.
