Spredfast, a startup dedicated to helping businesses manage social media campaigns, has raised $1.6 million in funding from Austin Ventures. The company is dedicated to helping companies tie their social media campaigns and customer relationship management tools into one single dashboard. The service supports Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Flickr, WordPress and other blogging services.
The service helps companies and employees manage their relationships with their customers by bringing all their different advertising campaigns into one easy to use dashboard. Spredfast really helps users by easily allowing employees to create campaigns and then define various components about it. So for instance, I can create a brand awareness campaign for my brand “SocialTimes”. SpredFast will then ask me for key search terms related to my brand, and create a report of how popular those brands are on various social media channels. Then, I have the ability to log in to my various accounts, and submit messages to all my different social media accounts from one place.
The same principle works with colleagues and contacts, and I can keep track of a lot of key information about employees, their latest Tweets and Facebook updates, and other key information. For more information about the product itself, I strongly recommend watching their video tutorials. The service also integrates Google analytics and provides a great metrics package, and licenses can be purchased for $100 per.
