Nineteen staffers at the Golfing Group have been let go, the New York Post is reporting. Gawker had the scoop on eleven of the layoffs, ten of which were in sales at Golf World and one in sales at Golf Digest. A tipster told Gawker that the company is planning to merge the two sales and marketing teams.
Meanwhile, three people may have been laid off on the editorial side at Vogue and four on the business side (NYP). This brings the total body count to 200 for just the week. Over the year, the company has eliminated 350 positions.
