The Economist continues to tweak its online pay wall. This time, the publication has made it so that only subscribers can read online content from its weekly print edition. Daily news and blog posts will remain free.
Subscribers who wish to register for the site have the option of a 14-day pass that grants unrestricted access to their premium online content, as well as an option to register either exclusively for a print or digital version.
The Economist currently offers different subscription prices and plans depending on platform, including a $103.50 annual subscription fee for its print edition, $8 per issue for its audio edition, and $10.49 a month for its Amazon Kindle edition.
