What’s the top-selling iPad eBook in the App store? It’s The Elements, a “magical,” (not our word) 3D exploration of the periodic table of elements designed by Theodore Gray, a guy as obsessed with the elements as you can get.
Popular Science magazine, another early entry into iPad-dom, has an exclusive article and video on its Website (the video is embeded above) telling the whole story of how this app came to be.
The first person to post a review of The Elements in the App store proclaims “This is what the future of books looks like.” He may be right…it’s certainly really, really cool. Though it costs $13.99.
