This year's Halloween event allows players to help Lisa film a horror movie in Springfield.

EA Mobile released its annual Treehouse of Horror update in The Simpsons: Tapped Out on mobile. This year’s Halloween event allows players to help Lisa film a horror movie in Springfield.

Early on in this event, players will receive the Filmmaker Lisa costume as a free prize. Users will also be able to construct the free MAG Office building, which houses the Monster Actors Guild.

As part of this event, players will be able to tap on feral beasts around their towns to collect film, an event currency. As users collect film in bulk, they’ll receive prizes such as a Town Square and a Bell Tower, among others.

Users will also be able to defeat large monsters in their towns by sending characters into battle against them. Battles take time to complete, and users will receive free film when they’re finished.

Elsewhere, players can construct the free Medieval Rich House building to unlock trick or treat jobs for some of the game’s characters. Users can send characters to trick or treat to earn extra film and Obols, another event currency. Users can build a free Construction Yard in their towns, where they can spend Obols on Halloween-themed items like a Spooky House building, a Dead Tree decoration and more.
