Did you know that you can add visual filters to your TikTok videos? You can add a filter before you start shooting, or even add one after you’ve recorded your clip(s). Our guide will show you how this works.
Note: These screenshots were captured in the TikTok application on iOS.
Step 1: To add a filter before you begin recording, tap “Filters” on the right side of the TikTok camera screen.
Step 2: Tap the different filters at the bottom of the screen to preview them. You can also tap one of the categories at the top of the Filters menu (like “Life” or “Food”) to browse additional filters.
Step 3: When you’ve chosen a filter, tap the screen above the Filters menu to close the menu.
If you want to add a filter after you’ve already recorded your clip(s), tap “Filters” at the bottom of the editing screen.
