Time Inc. Makes Major Changes to Leadership

A new CFO and three other executive role changes.

Screen Shot 2016-10-18 at 8.33.13 AMA major shuffling of the leadership deck has come to Time Inc. Sue D’Emic is replacing Jeff Bairstow as executive vp and CFO and three other execs are taking on additional duties.

Bairstow had served as Time Inc.’s CFO since 2013. He will stay with the publisher through March, 2017 to ease the transition to D’Emic.

D’Emic most recently served as Time Inc.’s senior vp and controller. She also joined the company in 2013. D’Emic will take over as CFO Nov. 7.

Erik Moreno, currently executive vp of business development, has been elevated to executive vp and president, corporate development, new ventures and investments. He’ll continue to report to Time Inc.’s CEO Rich Battista. Steve Marcopoto, president of Time Inc. International, and Brian Lew, senior vp of mergers and acquisitions and strategic planning, will now report to Moreno.

Greg Giangrande, executive vp and chief human resources officer, will take on the additional role of chief communications officer. He’ll continue to report to Battista. Time Inc.’s vp of corporate communications Jill Davison and director of corporate brand Abby McInerney will now report to Giangrande.

Lastly, Jaison Blair, currently Time Inc.’s senior vp, investor relations and corporate communications, has moved to senior vp investor relations, finance and corporate development. He will also oversee Time Inc. India. Blair reports to D’Emic.
