To KnowEm Is to Market to ’em

Start-up KnowEm offers marketers the ability to track the availability of their branded user names and keywords on more than 330 social-media networks free-of-charge, as well as providing a dashboard that tracks mentions of brands on sites such as Digg and Twitter, TechCrunch reported.

KnowEm also offers the service of creating and inserting relevant information about the brands on the top 150 social-media sites for a $349 flat fee, according to TechCrunch, while $99 will pay for only the creation of the profiles and $49 per month will reserve brands or user names on emerging social-media sites.
