Twitter: Here’s How to Create a Poll on Mobile

Each poll can have up to four responses

Did you know that Twitter allows you to share limited-time polls with your followers? Our guide will show you how to create a poll in the Twitter mobile application.

Note: These screenshots were captured in the Twitter app on iOS.

Step 1: Tap the “New Tweet” button in the top-right corner of the home feed. The home feed can be accessed by tapping the house icon in the bottom-left corner of the app.

Step 2: Tap the Poll button.

Step 3: Type your desired question and two response choices.

Step 4 (optional): Tap the plus sign to add another response. Each poll can have a maximum of four response choices.

Step 5 (optional): By default, a Twitter poll will remain active for 24 hours, but you have the option to change this duration, giving users more or less time to respond (anywhere from five minutes to seven days). If you want to change the poll’s duration, tap the arrow and move one or more of the three wheels until you have set the desired duration.

Step 6: When you’re done editing, tap the “Tweet” button to share your poll.
