Did you know that Twitter allows you to turn on password reset protection to help protect your account from being accessed by other users? When you turn on password reset protection, Twitter will require you to confirm your email address or phone number if you ever reset your password. Our guide will show you how to turn this feature on within the Twitter mobile application.

Step 1: Tap your profile picture in the top-left corner of the screen.
Step 2: Tap “Settings and privacy.”
Step 3: Tap “Account.”
Step 4: Tap “Security.”
Step 5: Tap the toggle next to “Password reset protect.”
Step 6: Type your current Twitter password, and then tap “Ok” to turn this feature on.
