If you happen to be at Ocean Park Beach in Santa Monica this weekend, the top of your head may just wind up on the cover of Los Angeles Magazine.
From the mag’s website:
Got some free time this weekend and like the idea of spotting yourself on Los Angeles magazine? Grab some friends and head to Santa Monica’s Ocean Park Beach this Saturday with your brightest beach gear–think umbrellas, towels, and suits (hey, what kind of magazine do you think this is?!)–and stake out some sand between lifeguard towers 27 and 28. We’ll be shooting beachgoers from a helicopter overhead between 2 and 4 p.m. for an upcoming cover.
More details after the jump.
WHEN: Saturday, May 15 from 2 — 4 p.m.
WHERE: Ocean Park Beach, between lifeguard towers 27 and 28. MAP
DIRECTIONS: From the 10 Freeway West, take the 4th/5th streets exit. Keep left at the fork in the ramp. Turn left onto 4th Street. Turn right onto Pico Blvd. Turn left onto Neilson Way. Turn right onto Ocean Park Blvd. Turn left onto Barnard Way. Travel about 100 yards and turn right into the public parking lot. On foot, make your way southwest to a comfy spot between lifeguard towers 27 (the ramp is currently painted orange) and 28 (the ramp is currently painted blue).
Don’t forget to pack some SPF and your game face. Just kidding about your game face. Act natural. This whole thing is totally natural.
See you there!
