Did you know that WhatsApp allows you to forward your Status posts directly to your contacts within a chat? Our guide will show you how this works.
Note: These screenshots were captured in the WhatsApp application on iOS. This process is slightly different on iOS and Android. Also note, our guide will show you how to forward a single Status post. If you want to forward multiple Status posts at the same time, follow these instructions on iOS, and these instructions on Android.
Step 1: On iOS, tap “Status” in the bottom-left corner of the screen. On Android, go to the Status screen.
Step 2: On iOS, tap “My Status.” On Android, tap the three dots next to “My status.”
Step 3: On iOS, tap the arrow to the right of the Status post you wish to forward to a chat. On Android, tap the “Forward” button next to the Status post you wish to forward.
Step 4: Tap the circle to the right of the contact(s) you wish to forward the Status post to. On iOS, contacts are displayed in two sections: “Frequently Contacted” and “Recent Chats.” On Android, contacts are displayed in three sections: “Frequently Contacted,” “Recent Chats” and “Other Contacts.” If you don’t see the contact(s) you’re looking for in these lists, tap the search bar at the top of the screen to search for them manually.
Step 5: On iOS, tap “Forward” in the bottom-right corner of the screen to share your Status post in the chat(s) you selected. On Android, tap the “Send” button.
