Why is Android Running on an Atom Processor News (re: PC World article)?

I’m trying to figure out why this PC World article is considered news.

Intel Puts Google’s Android on Atom Smartphones

My guess is that Intel’s Atom processor might be used in a phone instead of netbooks where it is more commonly found. It certainly is not news that Android runs on an Atom processor. The Dell video above was produced in May 2009 and shows the then current Android OS version booting on a Dell Mini 10v netbook with an Atom processor. So, Atom support has been present for a while now.
