WiFi or 3G? WiFi or 3G? It may be the hardest decision you ever have to make…
eWeek wants to help you: they’ve posted a list of 10 reasons not to splurge on the 3G iPad, including such inarguable points as “The iPad with WiFi is Just Fine.”
But they dig deeper, noting that 3G makes an expensive product a good deal more expensive: “should consumers really pay a $130 premium just to have the ability to connect to AT&T’s 3G network? If so, then they should also remember that to connect to 3G, they will also need to pay between $15 and $30 per month depending on usage.”
There are eight more reasons to explore. It may indeed be the case that 3G internet simply isn’t fast enough to make an awesome device like the iPad worth the extra expense. What do you think?
