Woman’s Day has a new publisher. Woman’s Day Brand Group today announced it had appointed Ginger Sutton as VP publisher of Woman’s Day Brand Group.
Sutton will be charged with developing advertising partnerships for the Woman’s Day Brand Group. She has been with Woman’s Day since November 2009, and previously worked with Modern Bride, This Old House Venture, CARGO and New York.

May 6, 2010 New York, NY — Woman’s Day Brand Group announced today the appointment of Ginger Sutton to the position of VP Publisher of Woman’s Day Brand Group. The announcement was made by Carlos Lamadrid, Senior Vice President and Chief Brand Officer of Woman’s Day Brand Group.
Sutton joined Woman’s Day in November 2009 as Associate Publisher. In her current role she will be instrumental in growing and developing advertising partners across all Woman’s Day Brand Group platforms.
“Ginger has been instrumental in the growth of the Woman’s Day brand since she joined the group,” said Carlos Lamadrid. “Her new role will put her in an even better position to continue to build the Woman’s Day brand.”

Sutton’s publishing background includes senior level positions at Modern Bride, This Old House Venture, CARGO and New York Magazine. Prior to that, Sutton pent several years at various advertising agencies including Altschiller Reitzfeld, Chiat/Day and Benton & Bowles.
In addition to Sutton’s new role, Woman’s Day Brand Group also announced that its top-circulation women’s lifestyle magazine, Woman’s Day, is devoting its entire June issue to the topic of men. The June Man Issue is considered groundbreaking not just for Woman’s Day but for the women’s lifestyle and beauty sector of the publishing industry. The issue hits newsstands on May 11.
