YouTube: Here’s How to Create a Group Chat

YouTube users can create group chats to talk to multiple people at once YouTube

Did you know that YouTube allows you to create group chats, so that you can talk to multiple contacts at once? Our guide will show you how this is done.

Step 1: Tap “Inbox” at the bottom of the screen.

Step 2: Tap “New Group” at the right side of the screen. Note: If you’ve recently looked at your YouTube notifications, you may need to tap “Messages” at the top of the Inbox screen to see your chats and the “New Group” option.

Step 3 (optional): Type a name for the group chat, if you wish to name it (you can change its name later).

Step 4: Tap “Create” in the top-right corner of the screen.

Step 5: Tap each of your YouTube contacts that you wish to add to the group chat. You can also tap “Send an invite link” at the top of the screen to send an invitation to users outside of the YouTube app.

Step 6: When you’re done adding contacts, tap “Add” in the top-right corner of the screen.

From there, you can begin chatting with the users you’ve added to the group chat.
